It's official, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow. We're in for six more weeks of winter.
Living in Minnesota, I never doubted for a moment that we'd have six more weeks of winter. :-p~~
Maybe we can form a virtual co-op and have all our homeschooled kids create that translucent groundhog!

Frankie: Guess what? I get to go to Doc's house for a week! Would it be okay if I swing by yours on the way home?
Well, addie, I asked my son if he would mind hosting you for a short time, and he said SURE! But you need to know, addie, we have two kitty cats. They're pretty fat and happy, though, and I think they'd leave you alone. =)
Addie left this afternoon for Oregon ... she is so excited. Be sure to check her blog next week for some of their adventures. Towards the close of her visit, she'll contact you for shipping, I mean, travelling directions.
The whole family is looking forward to Addie's visit. My husband even said he'd take her to work with him to meet the gang there. We'll try to plan some fun and exciting times for Addie, although we do live in small-town Minnesota and there's not a whole lot here.
Our cats are *really* looking forward to Addie's visit -- they have me a little nervous. I'll make them behave by threatening to take their catnip away.
I'm sure she would squeak with joy! : )
